Although there's RTs coming up but I have no choice but to take abit of mugging time to share about my lab exp today with the class...
it was really happening..
well there were screams and shrieks here and there with chow yiling and althea the ultra over-paranoid pair beside my table.. you will hear them shriek helplessly with the liquids spurting out when heating
and with alvin and jerald behind me... purple liquid spurting out and producing pungent gases which threatened to engulf us...
anyways me and chiajaime werent any much better.. well we had our fair share of getting flustered when the liquids start bubbling
but well... our last exp was to heat solid x.. and um test it with some chromate thing... i was holding and heating the liquid.. wearing my safety googles.. and jaime was holding the test tube awaiting effervescence to occur... but when effervescence occur.. the liquid in the test tube jaime was holding was furiously bubbling like an orginally dormant volcano about to erupt.. and well there was this sudden spurt of liquid out and jiemin dropped it and "piangs" a beaker broke and the glass pieces flew up...
then jiemin immediately covered her eye and screamed: MY EYE!
well for a moment i thought the glass piece flew into her eye and um... the ARGH MY EYE poster immediately flashed many times in my mind.. is she gna become blind?
then yiling the extra-paranoid queen immediately flew over to our side and said.. are you going blind.. =_=
damn dramatic... before jaime said: no lah.. is the hot liquid flew into my eye.. not pain.. just can feel something spurting into my eye...

abit anti-climax but ya.. the moral of the story is to always wear your safety googles when heating a liquid... your eyes are your windows to the beautiful world=D


aft SL today.. i realised i got problem connecting to people as a grp.. honestly speaking.. i know if i say this pple will just raise their brows doubtingly.. but i still feel im introverted by nature... im not by nature a social animal and a outgoing person.. im just adventurous and daring.. but that is not equivalent to being outgoing and extroverted... i had problems building rapport with the group but could connect to individual kids on a personal level..
well as 5 year olds.. i feel that my bro is still more adorable.. with his glistening eyes and glib tongue... im sure debby wld agree too...
